I'm just about resigned to Kyle Rittenhouse being acquitted, largely based on behavior of the judge. I just hope that somehow, even with an acquittal, the message gets sent that playing urban cowboy whenever/wherever you hear that a protest is going down IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BY LAW.

fired on an attacker when they supposedly feared for their life. Should it be a crime to purposely put yourself in harm's way with intent to shoot your way out of it the moment you decide it's necessary? I think so. Others do not for some reason.

He became the aggressor when he left his house with a loaded weapon to head to where he could find people that he disagrees with. Everyone who leaves their homes with a loaded weapon unnecessarily looking for trouble is the aggressor. He's not a cop, or soldier, or security guard

What if those 3 people chasing Kyle had not gone there, one brought a pistol with him. You can do biased what if’s all day because there’s nearly infinite possibilities but it’s irrelevant at this point.

Depends on why they're carrying & where they're carrying to? Most of the time aggressor wouldn't apply since the gun presumably is being carried for protection in case of emergency, or else to/from a gun range or hunting locale. Not to go looking for marchers/rioters to mess with
— Roy L. Pickering Jr. (@AuthorofPatches) November 9, 2021
Correct. Because he had no cause to be there in the first place. And if he did insist on going there and play acting the role of bad ass, he should have done so unstrapped.
— Roy L. Pickering Jr. (@AuthorofPatches) November 9, 2021
More or less correct. He went there with a gun. He was looking for a reason to use it. In that kind of environment it was inevitable that sooner or later he would find a reason.
— Roy L. Pickering Jr. (@AuthorofPatches) November 9, 2021
Yes, that would be another form of aggression and anyone caught smashing windows, setting things on fire, stuff like that should also be arrested & prosecuted. But I do think assault on property is WAY less terrible than deadly assault on human lives.

#KyleRittenhouse - As Rittenhouse begins to describe Rosenbaum running toward him, he breaks down on the stand. The judge had to call for a 10 min break. @LawCrimeNetwork pic.twitter.com/ThClSE8JpJ

This kid was MUCH more composed shooting people than talking about it afterwards. If being asked why you killed folks makes you weepy, maybe don't strap up and travel to another state searching for trouble. Maybe stay the F home, Netflix & chill, nobody dies. #KyleRittenhouse

Rittenhouse was there to provide 'medical support' except to the people he killed or maimed. He left them to die. Make it make sense.

Judge is totally against the prosecutor / prosecution's case. If somehow he obtains a guilty verdict from the jury in spite of the judge's disdain, the judge will surely give this kid as little time in jail as legally permissible. #KyleRittenhouseTrial

"Two of whom died" is the new "victims" per judge who has no intention of allowing a fair trial.

looking for trouble. This should not be difficult to understand. Protecting your house or business from robbers, or yourself from a mugging or raoe attempt, THAT'S self defense. Going on a road trip with a rifle to pretend you're a national guardsman is looking for opportunity to

Being shot/killed by someone who had no business being there with a gun looking for trouble makes you a VICTIM of unnecessary violence.
